" Michael Schumacher has been moved to the back
of the grid for the Monaco Grand Prix after stewards concluded that he
deliberately blocked the track in the closing stages of qualifying, preventing
rivals from beating his time. " - F1.com
Tifosi may cry to whatever extent they want, but if
they think with an open mind, as i mentioned in the last post, his act (he
locked his brakes as he entered the rascasse corner, though he got the control
back without hitting anything, but stalled his car) has costed alonso his pole,
which he has now been given.
Apart from this, i hope this decision, will check the
excessive I-AM-THE-GOD attitude of schumacher, which will be good not only for
the f1 fans but also for him.
btw, as i hoped yesterday, raikkonen did pass p2
williams to get second on track in a brilliant move, at the first corner, and
also clocked the fastest lap during the lap 2. Lap 14 is going on right
now, and schumi has already got up to p16, but his main challenge will be to
get atleast in the points. (It reminds me of last year, when kimi claimed p2
and p3 even after starting right from the back of the grid).
bye for now, and yes, happy racing!!!
